Mahogany Sheraton Two-drawer Worktable, New England, c.1810

Composed of dense ribbon grain mahogany, the solid top with leaves is reeded at its edge and retains—as does the rest of this piece—a very early, dark surface. This piece is in mint condition and retains it first wooden pulls. This piece is interesting in the simplicity of the turned legs and simple button pulls.
