Mahogany Regency Pembroke on Trestle Base Table, England, c.1820

This table is constructed with highly figured heavy mahogany top and leaves and is supported on four turned columns above saber legs with unusual brass, stylized paw casters. The support panels above the saber legs are united with a vigerously turned stretcher providing a formidable design aspect to this table. The ebony pulls are original.
