Gothic Mahogany Pedimented Breakfast Table, c.1840

This breakfast table is composed of solid, highly figured drop leaves above a shaped apron flanked by cornerblocks, which retain their original strongly turned drop pendants. The turned urn-shaped, reeded center column makes a strong statement all of which is supported by four classic scroll legs.
