Rare Neoclassical Mahogany Armchair, c.1820

This chair is the product of an excellent workshop with solid scroll feet and beautifully proportioned form for a commanding presence. The form follows through in all its execution, i..e note the development of the slightly turned out rear leg which balances the entire composition.
