Large Mahogany Drum/Rent Table, c.1780

This large table of highly figured mahogany swivels on a turn standard supported by four cabriole legs ending in paw feet. It is further embellished with line inlay throughout. This table was in the Claiborn Pell family and a letter to me authenticating such is herewith included. The senator is glad that it is now in "good hands".
