Margolis Mahogany Hepplewhite style Sideboard

Nathan Margolis was a well respected cabinet maker in the Hartford, CT who constructed furniture in the traditional manner with hand dovetailing and beveled drawer bottoms, solid mahogany top et al. Enlarge photo. Margolis' work is exhibited at the Atheneum in New Haven. This piece is dated and had inscribed by Nathon Margolis to his purchaser. Labeling is indicative of his earlier work.
