Six Mahogany Neoclassical chairs with two armchairs. English 1790-1810
These neoclassical chairs are early for the period as is demonstrated by the Hepplewhite form of tapered leg with spade foot. The reedings on the styles as well as the backsplats are finely carved and exhibits fine workmanship. An identical chair is illustrated in English and American Furniture.
