This is a Hepplewhite style inlaid tilt-top table with a beautiful patera in the center of the top and inlay along the edges. To a large degree, embellishment now turns to inlays, as opposed to carving. The bulbus turned urn with horizontal turnings is related to the work coming out of the Seymour shop in Boston c1815. A related example is shown in Vernon C. Stoneman, John and Thomas Seymour: Cabinet Makers in Boston 1794-1816, item 198.
