This, in my opinion, is one of the best Chippendale forms coming out of New York with bold claw and ball feet supporting a grand frame.   The Levy Gallery handled this piece and advertised it in 1973.   See below for a scan of a Ginsberg & Levy ad from Antiques Magazine, April 1959, featuring this chair.
