This is a beautiful, pure example of the classic New England shelf clock.  The dial and hands are all original, as are the finial, glass et al.  The case has a beautiful, historic, and untouched countenance to it, and is a fine example of the form, as shown in Willard’s Patent Time Pieces, Paul J.
