This mirror, retaining its early glass, is in a fine state of preservation and is complete in all its parts.  These mirrors are very delicate, and often lose their embellishments.   The surface is old and has a rich, warm feel.  The gold leafing is all original.   It makes a very elegant and rich statement.  There are a number of similar mirrors in the diplomatic reception rooms.
