A Rare Spanish Cedar Hardwood Colonial Tea Table William & Mary with Dished Top, c.1750

This is a very interesting table, which, at first, we thought was Bermuda or Southern.  The woods are: Spanish Cedar, Beech, and Red Pine.  Though origin is still not definite, the quality is certainly manifest.   Note the turning motif on the legs and stretchers.   Note it has the desirable medial stretcher and is a very comfortable work/tea table.   Also note the dovetail construction; it is of the earlier William & Mary style.    The table is in fine condition and the cedar magnificent.    This piece is a prize.
