This sofa table, of small scale, has a magnificent crotch walnut top. (See detail below.)  It is beautifully bookend-matched and glows from light to dark with magnificent burl.  This table has one long drawer and is finished on all sides, so it can even function as a center table or library table.  This table has a very light feeling, given the two main turned supports that flank a nicely turned stretcher.  It is in beautiful condition, with a warm, amber glow throughout.  The key escutcheon is classic to this piece and a period replacement.
