This lowboy is antique, but not entirely of the period.  It has had extensive restoration–and is priced accordingly–and has a correct, beautiful look and color.  However, one would need to take this apart to see that it is not as made in the 18th century as the top is period and beautifully figured, as are the legs and drawers.
