A Fine and Rare Mahogany Chippendale Silver Table, England, c.1780

A related table using the same architecture is illustrated in 18th Century English Furniture: The Norman Adams Collection.   Note the label we found on the underside.   Perhaps they felt this was by Chippendale, which, possibly, it could have been, as the quality is certainly there. 

Note the embellishment on the small blocks (which are related to the example noted above).
