Although fairly common, these settees come in a range of
quality.  This settee is one of the best
with bird’s eye vasiform splats and fully sculptured side arms.   The feet are delicately turned and ebonized
in areas for definition. We have had this settee recaned and French
polished.   It’s a beautifully decorative
antique original with no breaks or alterations whatsoever.
