We have never had a dumbwaiter with collapsible leaves, and it certainly
seems a very efficient way to use this piece with one or both leaves
up. The quality of construction is superb, as is the choice of mahogany
(please see our many detailed images). The legs are beautifully shaped,
and retain their original casters. Size-wise, it is relative small, and a
wonderful piece of Classical furniture. Also, mention should be made of
the canted corners, which are quite functional and atypical of the
usual rounded variety.
