A Rare Pine and Maple Sawbuck Side Table, Scrubbed Top, Old Red Paint, c.1790/1810

DEACCESSIONED

This “side” sawbuck table is a very rare form…note that the chamfered edge is only in the front. It is in pristine condition with no repairs or alterations whatsoever. Note, it has the right number of its original oxidized pins holding the top board, which is one piece and shows the wear it has had through the years. Note the edges on all sides evidencing its original state, with chamfering only on the front. The table retains its old red wash finish, which is traditional for these tables.
