This is an interesting table, which conforms to the general square tea table design and size. A pub table is a more country variant of the same form, although other examples vary greatly in size. Also, whereas most pub tables have pine tops and hardwood bases and legs, this table is all cherry.Being a completely cherry table makes this quite desirable and would have cost more than the pine version. Note the top is a two-board top as cherry doesn’t run to the great widths that pine does. It is breadbaorded at the ends to retain stability and prevent warpage.

This table is in impeccable condition. Note that the top has four wood pins, which are original, and there are no additional reinforcements, which many tables get over time, and take away from desirability.

The legs are beautifully turned with a traditional pad foot. It is in perfect condition with no repairs or restorations and has an old surface, which has turned a mellow amber cherry color.
