A Classical Mahogany Armchair in the French Restoration Taste, c.1820, probably Boston

DEACCESSIONED

This armchair is of good size and functions easily as any fully upholstered seating furniture, i.e. wing chair. This chair has been recently reupholstered with the addition of a solid removable backing, making this a very commodious and comfortable chair. The styling is of the best rate, with the styles running from the crest down through to the front of the arm supports in one stylish sweep. The scroll arms have a very elongated and open aspect to their design.  This chair is one of the best of the
form, and in perfect condition throughout.
