A Tiger Maple Tall Chest, with Strong Striping on all Sides, Rhode Island, c. 1760

Many varieties of tiger maple chest exist, some with strong tiger lines, and others quite sparse.  Further, some just have tiger maple on the drawer fronts with plain or lightly figured maple elsewhere.  This chest has tiger on all exposed surfaces: the sides, drawer blades, top etc.  It is the best of the best and relatively small scale, as these often tend to be quite wide.
The interior secondary woods are chestnut.
