This large sofa has an austere, yet stately,
appearance with an arched and molded crest that centers a rectangular flame
birch panel. The arms are shaped and down-swept with baluster and ring-turned
supports that are embellished with elegant and characteristic waterleaf
carvings. The arm supports continue to form a tapering baluster and ring-turned
leg. The seat is deep, bowed, and over-upholstered.
