Eight-day brass weight powered timepiece movement with outstanding original
tablets and nice old finish. Minor imperfections.
John Sawin was apprenticed to Aaron Willard, Jr. and was frequently employed
by Simon Willard, Jr. He worked alone at 33 Cornhill in Boston from 1829-1863.
