A Small Serpentine Mahogany Hepplewhite Server with Spade Feet, England, c.1800

DEACCESSIONED

This is a particularly useful small-scale server with an exceptionally beautiful solid one-board mahogany top. Note the figure on the top board; it was obviously selected for dramatic effect. The front is serpentine in shape and has tapered legs with strong spade feet. Small servers are very useful and desirable, and this is one of the best, as the serpentine front-which accommodates two drawers-provides lightness and elegance.  It is
in fine original condition, which we have French polished.
