These chairs are full-blown Chippendale style chairs with a caliber of carving and form that only the greatest of the period offered. Note the full carving on the side rails as well as the backsplat and the yoke with is dramatically turned upward and also fully carved. If this weren’t enough, the seat rails on the front and sides are beautifully scrolled with carving and complemented with carved knees on the front legs, ending in claw and ball feet.
