The face of the clock is finely engraved and the gilt all in perfect
condition.
The hands are original et al.
The complex detailed construction of the pendulum speaks for itself and
is indicative of the quality of this clock.
The mahogany is matched and of strong figure throughout.
At 32 in. tall, this monumental French restoration classical clock, in
any room, is of the stature that will always make an important statement.
This clock was not made for the average bourgeois living room, rather, it
was meant to be in a large conference, probably public space.
