This table is a tour de
force with a finely sculpted pie crust edge, all out
of the solid with attention to detail the molding
of form underneath each top as well as a carefully
articulated top-edge molding the columnar shaft both
on the upper and lower sections are beautifully carved
with the feet supports decisively executed. All of
fine mahogany. Although unmarked, this is the quality
of work we come to expect in the Margolis work of
the 1930’s.
