This is a superb example of the great work coming out of England at this time. This piece is in absolutely superb mint condition with its original finish and painting. Over time, the surface has developed a very beautiful craquelure and amber color. The painting is of the highest quality and embellished throughout. This is a very light piece in concept and fitted with glass shelves as a wonderful display cabinet for fine things. The lopers are fitted with turned ivory, as are some of the elements of its interior. Browse the additional images, and you will see a delicacy and the extraordinarily fine work these pieces are known for.
