This is a striking drop-leaf table composed of the finest Rosewood available. If the beauty of the dramatic grain were not enough, it is surrounded by a contrasting satinwood border further edged with ebony and more rosewood. The legs are further inlaid, as is the drawer, and it is one of the finest examples of the English Hepplewhite Pembroke form and retains its original offset casters. The quality of the wood and design speak for themselves, and the craftsmanship is the best (see the dovetails on the drawers).
